I have a 1989 I'm getting ready to sell and can't get the top down. Tonneau cover releases and motor sounds like it is spinning ,but not moving the screw latch. I am presuming I need to remove the motor, but can't see how. Read you can reach it from the trunk, but that one looks like the tonneau release not the motor going into the bow. Is there a repair manual and can I rebuild this motor or is there another option besides paying 330 For a rebuilt one from ASC ?

Sorry I meant to post this elsewhere, not in classifieds. Since I'm here I might as well mention my 1989 is the only one in Paris Blue and Tan and I am going to try for over $20,000 and see what happens. Any opinions?

One of my favorite colors. When you get it ready, throw out some pics for us to see!
