I haven't driven down I-75 to see the Ford Taurus plant. I have driven down I-10 through I think Alabama, and Georgia and seen the Kia and Hyundai plants though.
I agree that the US has stepped up it's quality control, but I think the Toyota's that falied recently were built in the USA. Kia ...

I'm not sorry to see Mercury go. They haven't really had anything original in well ever. Everything seems to be rebadged, and restyled Ford's. They are a drain on Ford. GM has the same problem with Chevy and GMC. If Ford wants to compete with foreign companies they are going to have to trim down ...

Just purchased an 87 vert, and I have a few questions.
The car is in decent shape, but it definitely needs some work. Mainly the interior. I want to get it looking close to new original.
