More info on the SVO - I know a guy looking for one right now.

Also post pics!!!! :)

Mike, if you will PM me your email address, I will gladly send some pics of the SVO.

Main thing on the car, fairly low mile car, 50k miles, red, gray interior. When I say a genuine car, even the timing belt is ...

Possibly selling 86 EC

Guys,

I have been debating in my head for a few months that I am going to need to sell off one my of my Fox cars, space has become a struggle and it is about to get tighter with another Aussie car soon to be in transit to me. So the cars to possibly sell would be my 86 low mile SVO, real genuine ...

thanks very much!! I had a friend over from Australia 2 weeks ago, we took it for a long spin up back country roads in S Alabama, looking for parts for his T/A, was a ball, I still cannot get over how well that carb'd motor runs, I have said that since day one, when I drove it to FL from its former ...

Re: WANTED: 1989 roof

Stuart,
That thread is almost two years old, I had shipped back my old XC Cobra no. 226 and my Brut 33 Moffat replica.

I will be packing another container or two to AU this year, one fairly soon. You being in Sydney, hmm, really does not matter parts go in a container to Vic or Brissy. Drop me an ...

I believe someone over on FEP went to go look at this car in person when it was last posted for sale a month or so back.

I looked at it the first time around. And stopped in last week and talked. I Showed up with my Silver GP. :D He had some offers but it would appear he will not take any less ...

Jim,
your car still looks amazing! All this chatter has got me excited. I have not been out to the car shop in some time, I think I will take some ASC's out today, for a nice spin, been a while.

Seriously though, I have got someone here that's looking at mine pretty hard, damn hard to let go ...

I might have stopped (never know). Small world - isn't it.... :)

One thing is for sure. Anyone who car-jacks a mclaren isn't going to get a way with it for long. Too easy to spot in too few numbers....

Jason

You are right about that, same reason I never really sweat my Aussie cars ...

Saw Eurocoupe on I-75 in FL yesterday

Hey guys, have not been around in sometime as I have been looking after a terminally ill family member, out of town. I came home yesterday from S FL, on the way north on I-75, near Gainsville, I ran across a white Eurocoupe headed north, NC license tags.

Anyone from here?

Car was super clean ...

I can tell you exactly what it is, the Idle Air Flow Control. It sorta looks like a minature fuel pump, it will be up near the throttle body. They go wacky at times. Just swap a new one on and she will be happy again. You can probably grab one at any Upull it place as well. And, I have found one off ...

Pretty much on the 5.0 HO's, they had double roller chains, at least back in 82, every GT from 82 and up I ever opened, had one, no exceptions, not to say one never slipped out, without one. At least that has been my experience.

yea, I got to agree with you on the worst roads part. I never really drove much on MI roads till the Dearborn Centenital event. I drove and had another of my Aussie Falcon's driven all the way from FL to MI. Man, the cars were loosing pieces off them going down those roads and I remember it was like ...

I wanted to ask a question relative to the note about my GP being one of the better preserved. Were these cars simply not looked after or something? While I have known of the cars, my daily activity with them did not exist till I bought mine. Just made me curious if maybe they were over abused ...
