Rare '87

Post by shelbyscarab »

Here is a rare one for sale based on color combo break down.

http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline ... 412845.htm

Its listed as an '87 with Black top and black paint. Interior isn't listed. They only made 2 with this combo, 1 with tan interior, 1 with blue. Either way, its 1 of 1.

Years ago I located the black-on-black with blue interior. It was 4-sale at that time. Not a combo that I would want, rare or not rare.....

The beige one (1) would be the ONE to have, Black & Tan -great combo! The grey interior wouldn't be bad either, 56 of them.

there are quite a few color combos from '87-'90 that I would not/don't care for.

Black and tan, those are my colors thanks! :) Sometimes I wish I had a tan soft top as well but black is really nice. Especially if they ever did a hardtop I would want it to be same color as vehicle. What is your opinion on color of tops?

Well you said you had a few combos you would not care for, so I asked you for your opinion on it. Which combos you dislike that they made and which do you like the most?

For example, I dislike the red exterior with the red interior regardless of color top not cause it is the same color but because they are totally different reds. I think the white cars look best with a color top like blue or red to liven it up.

For a bonus question the color I think they are missing is British racing green with beige interior and top. What would be yours? 8)

Nick :)

It also has 144,000 miles on it, cracked seats, a few dings... Knowing this, how does the price look?

Shiny Side Up!

I agree with you on the red. Can't do it. Won't do it. Its against my religion. lol.

I guess the White/Black/Scarlet doesn't sound to good. There are quite a few combos I have yet to see.

And ditto on the British racing green and tan.
