In all fairness I have to say Ebay has improved since they first started out. It was much easier to get ripped off when they first started out.

Unfortunately I've been ripped off a few times on Ebay. I had that false sense of comfort having the persons phone number, addresses and dealing through Ebay/ Paypal figured I would be safe. Let me tell yah these crooks know what they are doing. The numbers and addresses were useless as a person can falsify information and or simply change them after they commit a crime. In one instance it was an apartment that the person no longer occupied with no follow up information. These law enforcement agencies are overwhelmed and prioritize their workload based upon how serious the crimes are. For instance if you were ripped off $50 or $500 good luck. They are more interested in at least a felony charge which requires much more money (accumulatively is fine to btw). The LAPD wanted me to get a complaint by my local law enforcement agency here in NY before they would even consider getting involved. I wonder if California's laws are more lenient as Ive seen it happen a few times from there.

How can I say glad you at least got them under the circumstances? What condition did you expect them to be in? If you already expected to restore these then dont worry so much cause it should cost the same irregardless if a rim had minor or major problems. For instance when I sent my wheels to be refinished at fixrim.com one was pretty badly bent the others were badly faded with some road rash and they all came out like new same cost of $129 per wheel. Check out their site and look at the before and after pics they have. I plan on posting my pics soon, unfortunately I dont have any before pics cause they came out of storage and went directly to the shop. When an item is paid for, it should not take 1 month to receive it with no contact from the seller. No tracking numbers, emails, returned phone calls, nothing. I was not even told what carrier was used to ship them. Appropraite action was taken, and Paypal has sided with me. The wheels were finally received, albeit in worse shape than described and than the photos show. Case closed, lesson learned. Lock this thread please. Thank you.
