If some one can post the pics, I'm not sure how it's done looks pretty good but missing side and rear ground effects.

It's a coupe, 002. As it sits now it is white with orange rims.

The dash plaque does not assist me. I need the last 6 numbers of the VIN. If you don't wanna post, send to

Please post a link. White w/ Orange wheels would be awesome, even if it needs resto.

C'mon scout, I've been looking for a white one longer than you! I thought you were going after the black one!

I spoke with the owner today and he said "this car would be worth 25 -30k if it were finished". My impression is that it is very rough for $8k. I'm not very sure though as I haven't seen pics of the interior or engine bay. I've requested the vin as well.

He will not budge on the price, and balked at my offer which I thought was reasonable.

Missing $800 worth of ground effects + lower striping

The backend looks "tweaked" on the right side. Not sure if it's the image angle or not.

I'm going for the first nice one I can find at a reasonable price. I'm not really picky on the color. But, hey, go for it, this one is yours. I'm out. I've been looking so long my head hurts thinking about it.

I see this seller is like the guy in N Carolina with the Silver one that was for sale a while back. He thinks he has a Shelby GT-500 KR on his hands. The problem with these cars is, people that know nothing about them (and I mean literally nothing, not that I am an expert) think they are worth way more than they really are. Don't get me wrong, as I've said before, I love them. But they just don't trade at high prices. It frustrates the hell out of me. I can't see spending more than $12,000 for a really nice "complete" coupe. Any more than that, and I'll be in the hole if I ever do need to sell it. Maybe someday they will be worth something, but the Capri faithful are few and far between, so I'd be surpirsed if they ever garner much attention from big $$$ collectors. But, who knows?

I will find one, whether it's Kevin's, or Hippy's, or another. I am determined.

Good Luck to you CKJ

Nah go for it, if this is the one you want, here you go:

http://orlando.craigslist.org/car/468552116.html

It took me 2 hours to find the add today. I can't justify it at that cost. I'd be over 9k with a car with 80k miles and most likely in need of a full restoration..

Again, incorrect production number. He says "Number 002 of 340 made"

1986 Coupe: 115
1986 EuroCoupe: 47
1986 Convert: 245

No combo adds up to 340.
