Now I`m glad that you are getting better and better every day!
I really know it is hard for you, but you must be strong!
It is a hard and long way but I know you win!!
Just now I fix some engines in my garage but maybe later in winter I´ll
write a story about my ascMcLaren if you are interesting.
I have just order some parts and maybe I have time to paint it before summer!

Yes...sorry I´m little out with these computers!
Thank you for right link!!!
We just get ready the Marauder from 1970 with 429 cid engine.
It is quite original but we have done with engine some changes:
We bored it to 0.30 oversize and put a new Super Cobra Jet pistons (Flat Top). Compression ratio is 11:1 so we must use little nitro with gasolin. Also cam and etc. is new. Almost everything inside the engine is new but outside it is like it was in 1970. It took almost one year to get ready this car.
Now I have a new project. I`ll build a Ford Maverick Street machine with Ford GT-40 engine and AOD Transmission. I`m gonna take out over 400 horsepower and I`ll try to make it ready for the summer.
I`ll put to my websites new pics of that car very soon.
Jori
.....still grazy after all these years (52)

Your Mercurys are fantastic!
I would have a real problem picking my Favorite, but after repeated picture-gazing - I like the bright red 2-Dr Hdt. and, of course the McLaren.
But, then again, I like all of them, especially that Mercury made into a Lincoln Station Wagon - but....there were far far more than 2 made.
There were actually 2 in my town of 40,000 people that I grew up in - in New Jersey USA. A white one & a yellow one. I had seen a few at car shows (Dk. Blue and Light Beige) and one in New York City at a car show (Grey). My guess is probably around 200 were made.
Pharoah Coach Werks in (I think) Dallas, Texas did the cars.

Hi!
That is interesting! I really dont know how many they made.
I have only the information that the seller gave me when I bought it.
I always collect all the history that I can get from my cars, but this Lincoln is very difficult for me. I only know that the first owner was John Ema from Florida and I also have the papers (tittle and etc) and also the papers from Pharoah.
Please if someone knows something about this car please let me know.
Thank You Sandy!
I´m really grateful for that information!!
About That Marquis from 1972:
The first owner was Dorothy Smith from StLouis. She got this car from his husband for weddingday present in 1972. So I´m the second owner.
I just looked yesterday and there is now 44600 miles on it. It is completely original car. Original 429 cid engine, original paint and colour etc... 35 years and still the original factory colour!
Original outside and inside!
...and its gonna be original car for a rest of my life because I have a great feeling when I drive with this car on highway.

What I like about it:
The Hide-A-Way Headlights, the Lincoln-esque Grille, the Fender Skirts, the bright red & white color combo, the overall style, the larger than life size and the overall presence / appearance of her.
Jori, the cancer was in my colon. The surgery removed it. To do so, all stomach muscles had to be cut. The healing process takes 6 months.
To be "safe" beginning in January I will have between 3 to 6 sessions of Chemo. I have strength in my arms & legs, my head, feet, hands, brain, and back are okay. Stomach hurts 24 hours a day. I spoke to a person locally who had the identical problem 11 years ago. They are 100% fine, but told me 6 months is the recovery time.
