Is the paint clear coated?

1988 ascMcLaren, white - the paint needs help, I thought I read somewhere that the paint on these had a clear coat over the base color.

What's the best way to get it to shine again?

The brand of paint used, was "Sikkens" and yes, it was clearcoated.

And just to be clear (pun intended)...

This was for the verts. The coupes had FOMOCO paint and it was not clearcoated.

Ok thanks for the info.

It looks like it sat outside for awhile, what should I use to clean it and bring back some shine?
