When I get some time I will try to do some more research or try some poc's. I remember in the past some people trying to pass along some 1979's as possible early ASC McLarens. I bet Sandy may remember, it was on Ebay.

I recall, but they were just dreamers....
The ones that truly have peaked my interest are these handfull or so of 1983 ascMcLarens. I've seen them only in photos, and some of them (actually most) are total trash, but....they really are 1983 ascMcLarens. Look for 4 or 5 thin black plastic slats, (like miniture vennetion blinds) placed directly on the headlights lens. Of course, most are red. I've only seen pics, no cars in person....I think 3 red and a dark hunter green example.
They seem to have ALOT more attention to detail and more content.
Wish I could find a mint one ! I might have to cash in some stock !
