What am I missing to know that it's photoshopped ?? Hint, hint!
Yes, Virginia, it IS a REAL 1990 Wintertime "Snowball Edition" 1 of 3
Absolutely THE nicest one !! !!
You see the dash plaque? Unlike all the rest with black letters & numbers on a chrome plaque, the snowballs got them in Gold, with chrome lettering !
This to differentiate them from a Keweenau White Car with White Leather interior & a White top ~ ~ however, NONE like that had been ordered! w So, to promote (asc had ALOT of white tops on hand and white seat & door panels, too....
They "Announced to their dealers of record 1/1/'90 the Limited Edition ""Snowball Edition"" - which you see in front of you, now.
No, the interior is NOT tan ! The accents (lower door and floor carpeting, upper dash padding, Seat Belts, steering wheel and air bag pad and steering column are light grey. The seat covers and door panels are white. (Order Code 8PC).
VINS of the 3 Snowball Editions:-
132877
132878
132886
The dash plaque NUMBER is totally wrong !!!! It's REAL number should have been # 272. (247 1989s + this is car # 25 of the 1990s
0247
+025
272
There were 2 Special Editions for 1990. This one, and my Silver Anniversary Edition, which is 1 of 2 made.
This Snowball Edition really belongs to be with ME ! But, I have NO ROOM, and cannot afford any more rented garages, much less cannot afford to buy this car. Snowball loses. Tears drip down cheek. IT'S JUST NOT FAIR....
MY MONTHLY STORAGE FEES ARE NOW AT $635.05

Sandy,
Don't remember too well, but what kind of garage door do you have? For some reason, I don't remember it being an overhead door. If it isn't, we can always raise the roof supports up a bit and put an Eagle Indiustries SS700 storage lift in your garage. Or two. Turn that 2 car garage into a 4 car garage real quick. That's how my small 2 car garage turned into a 3 car garage.
Seriously though, I'd have to sell my triple blue 88 ASC to make room for this one. Any leads? Any takers?

Bob, my at home garage is a 2 car, overhead, vertical lifting single (double width) power operated door. The rented garage #1 that you saw the Grey Coupe in, is around the corner. Recall? I have 1 space there, for $75.00 @ month. It's safe & secure.
My newest garage is at the far other end of this town. I really like it. NO windows, no wood. Made 100% of cinder blocks and concrete. Asphalt roof.. It's a singe car garage, overhead manual door. Not deep (the McLaren fills it up, in length) - but W - I - D - E AS ALL HECK, INSIDE. $225.00 @ month.
Locks and is way set back off the stree & in the rear of the house. Very shady and cool, even when ~HOT~ out.
My #3 garage is THE $$$ KILLER
It's a car storage garage for exotics. It's underground, air conditioned & heated & dehumidified, has 24/7 Pinkerton Guards protecting it, totally fenced in property, and each renter has an enclosed garage, within the building as well as indoor parking for their arrival car.
It's like a club, of sorts, with a lounge and a card / game room, fish tanks, hot cocca & coffee in the winter and a huge window in a big "club room" to hang with other car guys. To enter, you use an ATM-like machine and enter your code. You drive to the enclosed 10x25 foot concrete garage ( 63 degerees in winter & 60 in summer) and park in your arrival spot. You supply the lock on your steel roll-up type door. Each 10x 25 cube has it's own sprinkler system, should a fire break out with your 9FROM YOUR) car !!
When you leave, you proceed as you were going when you entered, and at the far end a sensor picks your presece up and the power door lets you leave.
$335.05 @ month. But....it's a socal club, too.
Shelbyscarab, I am as far as one could be from a farm, or country area.
I was 13 when I saw my 1st real live cow !! 30 miles west of Manhattan New York City
Where expresway 21 crosses Rt 1 at the overpass of Rt 22, going towards
route 18 with the moon surface paving job./

also we all know asc didnt build the cars in the same order as ford. so this could be the 25th built by ford but the 10th by asc

Yes. Many of the pictures look like they've been intentionally overexposed. I am not trying to blame the seller but those kind of things are done to hide flaws. If the car was a real gem, there should be no need for that.88-254 wrote:Do you think they were photoshopped because of the blurring around some of the picture's edges?negusm wrote:I would proceed carefully. I would have to think they used a crappy camera and had too much sunlight in some of the pics. The pics when the sun wasn't glaring off the white are pretty crisp. IMO
