Bet you know every road in Jersey !! Ever see as many potholes as right now? Essex County has some as big as a dining room table, (in width).

Hi, Have exchanged a few msg. with" burton88". He is not that far from good ol' Perkasie. My home town. Will put together a list of car shows and other events in this area. Never hurts to make the Circle bigger .As for your pot holes, Jersey has no monopoly on them. Have to get my little girl to scan a picture ,of my vert, for me.Still not up to full speed, on my big time Dell.Like that will ever happen.Sandy ,take care ,see ya.

Actually it was called "Medium & Dark Regatta Blue"

12 1986s were so made.
All 12 had the Atlantic Blue Top & Medium & Dark Regatta Blue Interior

8 Paris Blue were made for 1989 !

7 with Atlantic Blue Top & Liht & Medium Crystal Blue Interior (different color)

1 (ONE) was made with Sand Beige Interior & the Tan roof

Hi, That's the first time I've seen the two int. combos . That dark charcoal might take a bit of getting use to . But like my Daughter said, when she was selling cars, " An A$$ for every seat, and a seat for every A$$ ".

Hi, Went back and read your msg. once more. My vert is Paris Blue , with blue int. ,and blue top. But it's not one of the 12 Spring Specials, as it is a 5.0 powered, 5 speed , and is fully dressed on the outside. So there are more than 12 Prais Blue Verts ?

IN the 12 Paris Blue and in the 17 Sterling Silver ARE the "Spring Specials"
They never gave me the VINs of the S.S. cars.

Regarding the Silver ones, IFshe had the Coupe's full package of ground effects and the Recaro Seating, it's apretty safe bet there is a 3.8 under the hood. It does NOT have to be, it could be a 5.0 onto which the Recaros & ground effects were ordered, but it is also unlikely !

Same applies to a Paris Blue example, only the Spring Special,. in Paris blue had the mesh wheels and the mesh part was painted matching Paris Blue, so that there is definately a 3.8. With the normal silver mesh rims she is a 5.0. Sterling Silver 3.8s had the regular silver rims on them, so it's lot harder to tell a silver 6 from a V-8 on the Silver cars.

Sadly when I obtained the VIN listings they only gave me lists with the last 6 digits. The key to the engine is in the first digits and that I do not have, so I can't give an exact # of 3.8 engines are in 1986 McLaren Verts. I was told by a friend at ascMcLaren that it was like 14 or so.....was the figure that he recalled.
