I'll be there, I booked my hotel about 3 weeks ago.
Will you be bringing a car to show?
I hope the heat stays away this year, the past few years felt like we were at a car show in Africa.

Hi, If you can wait, I'll bring the mag out with me, to Carlisle. Might as well call HANK, and have him bring up the headlight covers as well. Oh ... this is working sooo well . I live about two hours away, so it's a day trip for me . So if you can hold off - OK , If not , That's fine with me also .

Unless something wacko occurs, I'll be there.

Of course, wacko is the theme of my year thus far!

Surprisingly, the Super 8 motel is very nice, clean, and very cheap. I'd recommend it.

No way. Too much walking for me. I tire out, fast! That will begin to diminish 6 months from now and will take 6 months to complete.
Right now, I can walk about 900 feet, before getting too tired to continue.
A year from now, probably a mile will be do-able

So look for the Twistin' Postman, coming down your street soon .Also got my daugther to put up a picture of my 'Vert and my pit crew. The boy loves FORDs,Has he got taste,or what? But I will see you at Carlisle... And you can buy me a hot dog.

Quite a nice lookin' car you have there! What sort of modifications do you have going under the hood there?

Oh, and I love your "pit crew's" T-shirt!

Hi, Thank you for the NICE WORDS, Most of the mods are for CHEAP horsepower. As I want to keep the speed density system on the engine. So later modle intake upper and TB were used. And a full exhaust up grade also. Plus a lot of eye candy. The "pit crew's "out fit, Is thanks to my daugther.

U-MAN,
Sounds good, I really appreciate your time and effort and I will but you that hot dog and also a ice cold brew to wash it down.
BTW, I love the color of your car. I have never seen one in that color in person. You are bringing it to the show field RIGHT! If you do that will make a total of 3 asc McLaren Capri attending the show. For the past 3 years its just mine and a 85' blue/orange coupe.

We need to get more to attend including the 87-90 cars so we could all be classed together. Right now the Capri asc's are in the same class with the European Ford Capri's from the 70's, the 79-86 Fox's and the 90-94 Capri's. The Mustang based asc's are lumped in with the similar year mustangs. It would be cool if we could. Hell, Saleen has their own class...
