ASC Capri with T-Tops .. ???/

So the cruise cougar wheel looks different than the Capri one?

I have the 2 spoke wheel with cruise as Mike has pictured above.

Yes, that's correct for 1986 McLaren Coupes factory ordered with Cruise Control. What I am N-O-T sure of was that if my (old) memory is still intact after all the chemo, is that steering wheel was NOT leather wrapped, but either vinyl or unwrapped hard plastic.
What is the rim of you guys wheels on '86 coupes with cruise control.

I seem to recall vinyl (non padded) wrapped.

my 85 has a hard non wrapped 2 spoke wheel. with the cougar cat in the horn pad.

i use to always have people asking me why i had a cougar horn pad.

i just assumed that was the mercury symble befor the mercury waterfall. yes no?

THAT IS IT!!! BOTH ARE CORRECT !!

Now I recall. The '85 Coupe with Cruise was hard plastic with the Mercury center cougar head disc and the 1986 was non padded leather wrapped with the Cougar head.

Oh oh oh! I just remembered:

That black '86 coupe w/ T-Tops and cruise I saw in 1986 at Krug L-M in Dearborn also had chrome "CAPRI" letters across the hood.

Another reason I didn't think it was kosher.
