It definitely needs new paint, but all of the pieces appear to be present, and interior looks to be in good shape.

It's much more than decent. I'd give it like a solid "B" grade. Hood needs paint and the roof is a replacement and (of course) NOT an OEM.
Other than those 2, she looks 100% better than most that hit e-bay or some other internet sight.
Is it near you? (Meaning within 100 miles in eash direction?) If so, go eyeball it and drive it and see how good it is (or isn't...)
Good Luck.

That car looks like its already had one repaint (look at the hood seal & door jamb sticker).
The aluminum engine components are too "dusty" i.e- Corroded for a 91k mile car.
Anyone check the Carfax? Up close I bet that car needs a lot, if aluminum is corroded, chances are every piece of rubber/plastic is shot too.
Current bid is more than its worth in my opinion, could be wrong, hope I am for the buyers sake.

Too "dusty" for 91k? 91k is pretty much when cars of that era were ready for the trash heap. I find it odd that people think low mileage is anything under 100k. Thats 5-6 years of heavy driving, and in the NE, that means 5 winters which is about the limit a car's body can handle.

I asked for some more photos, in an effort to get a better idea as to potential rust issues, the wear to the headrests, the door panels, the storage area, the engine and some other areas. I worry that this is a car that looks a lot better in person than it does in photos.

I've looked at a couple of Porsche's at that dealer before. They usually get a lot of mid-milage stuff from Manhiem and buff it up a little...
They are asking $8,964 on their website for the car and have it listed as a Mustang!

It's really not that difficult. If you wash the outside, why not the inside?

91K is not too many miles for a 20+ year old vehicle either. Yeah 91k is high mileage for a 5-6 year vehicle, so where is your analogy coming from? Our cars don't suffer from youth! I still do not understand the ultra low mileage hangup either.

Usually the most miles occur in the first 5 years of a car's life. I bet a good 75k was put on her early and she bumped around doing a few miles here and there after that.mustangjim wrote:Damn Mike- Sorry I forgot, most people do not realize there is a thing called a hood release and you can actually get to the engine bay and use a little elbow grease to clean & protect the engine! I didn't say it was "too" many miles, I just don't see how you can be surprised by the condition of the car with that many miles on it.
