5 speed cars?

Is there a breakdown on the ASC convertibles year by year of how many came with manual transmissions? I really would prefer an ASC coupe, however I've seen a few ASC verts that have peaked my interest, but would really prefer a manual trans.

I think Sandy or Hank has a breakdown.

My 88 is manual. They didn't make too many manual 87-90's. You do see a few surface on ebay from time to time....

Any breakdowns on the earlier cars 84-86? Want to know if what I am even looking for even exists.

Every ASC capri I see seems to be auto, although there was a black ASC vert at Carlisle that was a 5 speed (but don't think it was for sale). Someone told me he was from Staten Island.

I am sure intertnal at asc had it at 1 time for Capris, but I never got it.

Speaking of 5 speed. I got to say,"Wow, 1st gear is short!"

I thought the 1986 info was available?

i know 84-85 was lost (tossed or destroyed on purpose is how i see it).

Hello, One and all ! Just had to put in a word on this 5 speed thing. My '86 'vert is a 5 speed car, It's #115. Sorry Sandy,But that's the only way to fly. Just got to row the box! May the kid in me never die!!!!!!

My Gold 89 is a 5speed also, and I agree" It's the only way to go...with clear traffic, but i wouldn't want it any other way"

Hey, what did I say? I didn't say a word about Automatic VS Manual !!

The orders ascMcLaren recieved were a solid 80-percent in favor of automatics, so somebody wanted them.
