Why would you want a regular hatch instead of the bubble hatch?

The bubble hatch is what made the Capri faster than the Mustang from 83-86.

reason i am looking for that style hatch as that where I am to many kids that like to throw things and as far as speed goes not to worried about that as I have built a 331 stroker motor and fixing to put a 8.8 inch rear with 373 posi in it :D :D ... have already run quite a few stangs into the ground plus a few honda's and toyota's just to show them what old school can do lol and Sandy why do you say it would not fit have been offered one from a 79 capri would this fit as the body style is all the same just more window in the 84.. would appreciate all help :?

Why would kids throw something at a bubble vs a non bubble? It doesn't sound like a valid reason to me.

I'm closing this thread as I like the bubble and I'm tired of seeing them swapped out.

I'll never understand why people want to make their cars just like everyone else's when they are very unique to start with.
