Yes, I know that. It was when they put the Bonneville name on the mid-sized car (think Buick Regal) to take the place of ther LeMans and found themselves w/out a full size luxury car.
The Parisienne 4-Door Sedan, (only style) was based upon a Caprice, but with typical Pontiac style and a VERY uplevel interior, that almost shamed an Olds 98. In these parts, it was a pretty good seller - but all of a sudden, they all vanished from earth; well at least in Jersey. I have not seen one on the road in many many years.

Yeah, it was the Beaumont built on the Chevelle basis--but it was an Acadian-badged car.

Peter.... I kinda liked them. A big car, with a V-8 and a really fancy interior. It was built on the Buick LeSabre, Olds 88 & Chevy Caprice/Impala frame, with similiar V-8 engine. The Pontiac version was the fanciest one of the group. 302 V-8 3-speed Auto, power everything, leather or Velour, dual 6-way Pwr. seats......

Great cars i have fond memory's! I recall the day in early 85 when my dad and 3 of his Biz partners went to the local Pontiac /Cadillac dealer in Dalton Ga where my dads carpet plant was and bought 4 new Pariseinnes man they worked that manager/salesman that day. I drove my dads quite a bit back in the day his was black/black top with power moonroof and burgandy leather a very cool smooth ride that i would still drive today! I do not care what anybody says! :argue: Sandy i believe she was a 5.0L 307 4bbl.
