asc coupes in mustang national shows
The MCA shows do not have any judged classes for the Capris and there is no special class for the ASCMcLaren. Not yet anyways. there are just not enough of them to get their own class which is fine with me. If your '88 has not been restored, you might try the unrestored class which I have to say is the hardest class IMHO. It is everything in concours plus an additional page for original equipment. oh and everything has to be clean... everything! the combined car shows embrace the coupes though. Dont get me wrong, my first car was a '79 Capri, still miss it.
We have these conversations often and you will find that everyone here says just enjoy your car and everyone elses opinion varies. mine are show cars, any shows, but the MCA judged is what I consider the cream of the crop, because the cars compete with them selves. So if I had a coupe I would take that to the combined shows and the vert to the nationals or grand nationals.
