It was an ascMcLaren ORIGINAL option, on 1984s and EARLY 1985s, until supplies were exhausted !!

are you talking about the dash mat? I have them for all of my cars. living in the desert it's a must.

Yep growing up in Mi. I had never seen them until I moved out to Az. It's a standard add on item out here on older cars - thus it may not be the super rare asc mclaren one Sandy is mentioning..
