I know it is a ways off but the Ford national car show is the first weekend of June in Carlisle PA. Is anyone else intrested in going?

If the club registers 25 cars by May we can all park together and they will provide us a tent to hang out under.

Chicago is far but if I can get my vaca picked for that week it would be cool.

If the wife allows the Mclaren to go that far, it might be a good reason to finally go. Every year I say I am going and it never happens.

'Carlisle Ford Nationals' is always the first weekend in June.

For 2011 it is June 3rd through June 5th.

Don't think we'll be there. In fact we may sell the McLaren. I can't drive it any distance in comfort due to medical conditions. Ditto the Corvette.

At my age I need the 'creature comforts' a lot more than the cars!

I am saddened to read that, Ken. At 63 and 24 days from being 64.... I know the feeling all to well. I was okay til the Chemo began. That crap knocks the stuffing out of you. E'one that knows me keeps saying how great I look.......but......while true, inside is all scrambled up.

Add to that, flirting with 64 - is depressing, too.

Be sure that you will not regret it!!

Not quite ready for a TC....................yet.

I bought an Expedition 10-1 and took it to S. Carolina. Very comfortable!

I'll stick with it for a while. I had a '97. Gave it to the daughter when I bought an '07 F150 in Dec. 2006. It has 300,000 miles now and everything still works, nothing ever breaks down, looks and drives like a new vehicle. So I went back to one. Over 300HP, 6 speed auto, all the 'creature comforts (Excep heated seats. We live in Florida)'. Right now my in town fuel average is 16.5 for 4 tanks of gas. Hwy. was 20. Not as good as the '97, but I'll let the heirs worry about how much I spent on gas!
