Welcome to the club. What number is she and when you have a chance post some pics. Glad to see another mclaren in GA. I live in covington, just east of ATL, maybe we can hook up some time an check the cars out?

I am a lover of the 79-86 Capri so exterior wise she will look very much orginal, except wheels and brake up grades. I owned an 86 black magic capri, and kicked myself in the ass everyday for selling it, so when this came up I just had to buy it (even though my girlfriend was not to happy). On the interior I will be taking out the recaros and going with some different seats (I know the rarity just dont like them) And of course will be doing lots of go fast goodies. Thanks for the welcoming on the site guys!!!

Ohhhh and I dont know the number, any input on how to get it?Its a 86 I know its the dark blue color, and is a auto and the recaros came factory in it

There should be a brass plaque attached to the pass. side rear quarter panel that says Design Concept by Peter Muscat with a Serial #86-0xxx beneath it. I have seen them moved elsewhere on other cars, both inside and out.

What condition are the Recaros in? If they're not all ripped up, I might be interested in them.

I will look for the number thank you. And the seats will need a total redo. everythings there, but they are not pretty at all. Car WAS covered but sat with the window down for 10 years so they are ripped and nasty
