Interesting!

This is a place where we discuss anything BUT ascMcLaren cars. TV, movies, vacations, family, pets, girlfriends, college, school, OTHER cars, whatever....that kinda thing. Taboo is Religion, Ethnic Background, Politics.

I believe that he is a very distant relitive of mine. Never met him, nor do I know which "Block Family" he is from - but a 3rd cousin told me so. But it was pretty distant fro me, Of course, he is much younger than I, so his parents would be around MY current age (64) or even a little bit older.
One side of the family (mine) was allways very into cars, and ALWAyS
and only, MOPARS. Imperials, and Hemis, and 1950s Chrysler 300s.
A female cousin, drove a Dodge Coronet Hemi 426 in a local drag strip. She was the sole "she" and told the manager, "I'll beat any guy you want me to beat (and she did!!)
Her hubby only drove Imperials, usually a LeBaron, or a Convertble.
My Dad only bought Imperials, and Mom had "Sporty" Dodges, such as Chargers, and later a Magnum, and in the 70s 383 4-Bbl Chargers,

My Mom always made Thanksgiving for the wholw gang. Our driveway & the street looked like a Mopar dealer's stock lot.
It was the cousin with the hemi(s) that told me that we were somehow distantly related to this Ken Block. ? !!

Good to hear Sandy! I did not want to insinuate a relationship, but thought how cool this would be to know that there might be a connection. Obviously, cars were deep seated in the blood lines of the Block family!

Take care!
