EBAY 1985 Coupe Blue with orange ends 12-14-2011

Post by Agent-J »

I just talk to the owner of this car he really has no idea what he is trying to sell. I need one more car like I need another hole in my head or I would be bidding on this car. What i learned from our conversation is the following engine turns over but did not start, floor boards are solid just surface rust, also he has a set of side ground effects for the car. He told me that his wife wants the car gone that is why he is selling it. There is only 22 hours left on this auction I hope someone buy this car and restores it instead of someone who thinks there buy a Mustang for parts. I do not know the person selling this car and have NOTHING to gain but the knowledge that one more of the cars we love hopefully not going to the junk yard.

Have great day!

I hope Hippie sees it and snaps it up. He does nice work.

I'd love to have it, but body work is beyond me.

When I talked to the guy who listed the car I told him he needed to call Hank they are both in Florida I was hoping to see it sell for more than 1000......I should have been bidding on that car. I am glad Hank ended up with it I have been dealing with Hank for years and he has done a several things to help me.

That's still over 255 miles from Hank's place. Hank is 22 miles from us.

Pompano Beach is in the same area where we bought our '86. Lot of nice cars down there for some reason. Bought our Corvette from down there too.

255 miles that is a walk in the park I drove 30 mile north of Detroit Michigan to Laramie Wyoming by myself to pick to my 1985 SC. I think Hank will be able to manage it. :D

If he didn't set a reserve, and the high bid is $1,000.00, under the terms of Ebay listings he HAS to sell it for the high bid of $1,000.00. And he can be sued by the bidder if he did not, and it doesn't appear that he did, set a reserve price.

Too bad it sat for 9 years. There has to be a reason.

Sorry

Post by Agent-J »

I am sorry to all I wished this guy would have been a man of his word. I never intended for this to happen. I guess it is safe to say anyone from this forum is aware of the person they are dealing with if they want to try to buy this car from this guy.

Is this person in the Pasco County area of Florida? I talked a gemtleman, at a car show, that said he had 1 of each year they were built.

I believe he lived/lives in New Port Richey area.
