Leather Automatic Shifter

Hi all, I am selling my Leather Automatic shifter off my Mclaren, I know some of you will cringe but I just don't believe an automatic should be in a sports car, so its getting a 5 speed. At any rate The shifter leather is in really good shape, but the glass on the selector is touching the needle and will need rework. Shifter will not be sold with the cable. I do need another automatic shifter for a different project, so if anyone wants to do a partial swap for another shifter + cash let me know and we can work something out.

You can pull just the handle off.

Put shifter in N
Push in button
Pull straight up hard---- Just make sure not to hit yourself in the face when it releases.

Ah, good to know, I thought there may be a way, thats much easier. In that case, I can sell just the knob if anyone's interested, thanks for the info.
