Wound up with the car discussed in this thread,
http://www.ascmclaren.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4421

And the project begins.
This one is interesting as is supposedly has 37k miles.
The bad, dash plaque is gone, repainted, radio gone, wrong carpet, seats redone, RS moldings, wheels gone, LX door panels, dash cracked, sun visors missing, 5 bar grill, and the usual assortment of little bits that need fixed or replaced.

The good, no rust that I have seen, mechanicals are in good shape, everything under the hood looks original (including the 86 plug wires), useless radar detector is there, etc.

Picked up a set of Mustang turbine wheels from Craigslist as the goofy donk wheels have to go. It rode like a brick with the low profile tires. Should look ok with the turbines, they match pretty well with the 5 bar grill and tails.

Was going to throw up a picture but could not figure out how to create an album.
