Good luck with the car. Even with the perfect car there seems to be some questions which come up. Looking over the pictures and paperwork on the ebay listing I see 2 conflicting documents. One shows delivery to McCracken Ford in Pittsburg car #65 and the other ASC paperwork to Bob Bennett Ford in West Virginia as car #57 of 65 with the same VIN! AND 900 miles on the car! The factory must have taken their time with that one.

Funny I put right the same amount of miles in 2 days as Sandy did in 23 years! Dylan and I had a blast! Car did great and was running well when we got it but now doing spot on and very strong it needed the workout! She now has just over 3100 miles and should stay pretty close to that for as long as we have it!

Ok figured out on the photo resize! This was a very special trip for me and my 9 year old son Dylan! I did the same type of trip with my two older children Victoria when she was 9 and shes now 23. My son Daniel when he was 9 and hes now 19! I find a neat machine and we fly out spend several days jacking around and having fun and drive back to Ga! I will do the same with my Granddaughter Addi in 6 years its neat tradition and the kids will always remember! Here are a few pictures of our 1000 mile trip on Sandys old ASC!

I love it. Thanks for sharing the pics. I planning a similar trip with my son for later this summer, though it involves a less historically significant car.

Did the seller find a buyer for the silver one, too?

It was a real neat trip my son Dylan is a blast and full of life! Yes the dealer i bought Sandys blue ASC from sold the silver one to a buyer in Alabama. I though about buying the silver one because i love the colors but the blue car is nicer and i think was Sandy favorite and a bit more significant!
