I want to buy an ASC McLaren Convertible (1988?) but the seller has no documents from that car. For the registration (I live in Germany) I need a copy of a type approval (I hope it´s the right word). Can anybody help???

In the USA things vary but most of the time a title of ownership is the most common. Some states use a bill o& sale as proof of ownership. If you are looking for proof of manufacture, then you want a Marty Report or a copy of the window sticker from Kevin Marty.

Seems to be hopeless to get a registration though the car had one in Switzerland until 2009.
