I have an 88 Mclaren with a broken convertible top motor. I am trying to find one and as far as availability the only one i saw was over $300 on the Ascmclaren website. If anyone knows or has access to a motor or a way to rebuild please let me know.
My understanding is they are a Cadillac trunk draw-down motor. Failing that, Hank should have some and I know a guy with one for sale.
Take your old one in to a reputable parts store, look for the old guy who doesn't ask what transmission your car has to sell you wax, and let him take a stab at it.
