Body kit identification

I recently bought this and was wondering if anyone has an idea to what this body kit might resemble. It's a completely different look than the original 1987 body, which is still underneath all of the fiberglass. I did some research on my own and I think that the previous owner was trying to make the car appear for like an M81 mustang. I'd love to hear other peoples opinions on this.
