Gentlemen -

I have enjoyed checking our your web site, and thought you might like to add one more bit of interesting ASC McLaren information:

There is STILL one more, never titled, brand new 85 Mercury ASC McLaren
and I own it.

It is a Black Convertible - and a rare one-of-a-kind car. It came to me from ASC with both the Convertible package (5.0 SC) AND the hardtop conversion package on one car.

Meaning that my car has the ground effects and suspension and striipe kit - all installed on my convertible by ASC Mclaren.

The car is Black with tan Recarro leather, black top, and orange stripes. The car is new and never titled (still on the 1985 Mercury MSO from the factory). It is perhaps the rarest-of-the-rare McLarens ever built.

If you want more info, e-mail me.

I live in the KC area. I might have to go talk to this Gent. I just ordered some rubber bumpers for my hatchback last week from Northtowne and got them this week.

That's the car I saw over 12 years ago and have been trying to find pics of it ever since. It is very cool looking. :D
