THANKS FOR RUINING MY DAY. Gosh would I ever love to own that! That's as nice as my 3. Flawless example. I wish somebody from here would buy it. Otherwise I give it 1 year to be "improved" with tons of add on crap and 18 months to be trashed. I doubt the dash plaque as subtrating the 479 from 1987, I come up with # 1040 and 1015 were made. Why on earth would someone trade this gem in ? ? ?
I just checked it. It's # 926 of the 1,015 made.
An original Dick McCustion Ford Car, meaning
it was an over-run and was sold greatly
discounted at a Canadain car auction, by
Dick McCueston Ford of Michican (now out of
business). Dash plaque # should be # 1405.
BTW, she has a black top.

Like a lost and abandoned puppy, like a abandoned child,
I want so much to adopt that black McLaren, it hurts. My
wife.....I mentioned it. I saw the look of terror rolled into
utter hatered mixed with evil in her eyes. I stand near
zero chance, plus storge fees are killing me, now at
$ 325.00 @ month ($4,000 @ year) and if I bought this
one, it would be another $110 to 130 a month garage
rent. But, I wanna save it from some 18 Y.O. whose
grandma gives him $17,000 for car, and #1 off go the
OEM rims & on go 4 blade AutoZone "on sale"
"Screecher" Rims, followed by a whale tail spoiler and
then some hood graphics and then he yanks out the
stereo and throws it into the garbage & sticks in
a nice Kraco AM FM CD and then cuts holes in the rear
panels for a set of Woofer Pounder Bass-0-Matic
ground pounders, followed by Altezza tailamps and
6 months later he drives it into a tree coming home
at 3AM with 5 "Bud Lites" in his belly!
Why would / should THIS one be any different than
100s before it?
Somebody here, please buy it and give it the love &
care it's had and deserves. I've tried ~ but it's no
use, wife says that I allready have 6 "adopted" kids,
and that's "it" ~ Last eve I bought 6 lottery tickets
I had 3 numbers on one, so I win nothing. "Pick 6"
was 6 million. First call would been that dealer &
2nd call to Horseless Carriage to go pick it up.
There is still that one in Rhode Island with 1,400
miles on it ! but he's not selling. (It's a 1986
Capri 5.0SC in the Red/Tan color scheme.)

I have no land to increase the two car garage I have here at home. One Rental is $70 @ mo. and is a mere 11 houses away. The other one is a 2-car deal and is $125. each ($250) @ Mo. & is 3 miles south of home. I know of no other for rent, but a really fantastic storage facility 2 miles North East made ONLY for cars, it's heated & air conditioned to 68 Degrees year round, and each has its own private stall, with indoor parking for arrival car. Ha Ha.... $ 275.00 @ Mo.

Would not help. They ALL have to live outdoors. I've got the blue '90 and the daily driver Town Car in the garage at home, and the Caddy & the Silver McLaren side-by-side in the 2 car rental and the gray coupe in the single rental. If I gave up the garages, I'd have all 3 of them here in the driveway and be constanly playing musical cars moving everybody around. No good. I am sure that dealer would let her go for $16,000 to $16,500 I paid $20,000 3 years ago for my 7,000 mile flawless Silver Anniversary Ed. 1990. My luck? You don't know MY luck ! The lift will come crashing down and smash two of them to pieces. Regardless, my gasrage is too small and how do I know??? Ummmm? Had the idea years ago & had it checked out. Not w-i-d-e enough and the mechanism hits the center support pole.
I keep telling self, No Recaros, I don't want it, No Recaros, I don't want it, No Recaros, I don't want it It's not working
