Beautiful car!

Looks to be a con to me, be careful with this one.

I could be wrong but 0 feedback, does not give VIN and a poor desription make my con-sense tingle.

The paypal only transaction is weird.

It's RIFE with exceptions. I got nailed for $100 in door panels. I started the Paypal complaint process within the required 30 days.

Paypal agreed with me and closed his account. No money did I see because his account had no money and no bank account and no credit card with which to retract the funds (he yanked the money out as soon as he got it).

I couldn't call my CC company because I just happened to have had a positive paypal balance for over $100 and had used that money....so there was no CC card to complain to.

I have gotten a raw deal both as a seller and a buyer through paypal

As a buyer I paid around $100 bucks for something that never came. When I went to paypal to get my money back they said the account had no money and I was out the cash.

As a seller I sold a $1200 AEM computer. I received the money and sent over the computer. Nearly 3 months later I got a message from paypal stating I had a complaint against me from AMEX. The guy lied and said I misrepresented the product. (It was unused and brand new) Now I had a negative balance of $1200 in my paypal account and no way to fight the chargeback directly. Paypal plead my case with AMEX and lost. The killer was that he didn't even have to send the part back. The law is that I have to arrange to have it picked up. I did have FED EX. go and try to pick it up 3 times. Conveniently no one was ever available to give it to the delivery guy.

Could I have taken him to court? yes. Would it have cost me even more than I was out already? Assuredly.

I tried to disable Credit Card payment ability in my paypal account and you can not have a premier account that does not accept credit cards. If you need to buy or sell things of any value the premier account is needed.

The way I see the scams going is they ask for Paypal then tell you that you are insured no matter what so you are satisdied. Then they send you a link to paypal to send them the funds that is not really a Paypal site to steal your information and money or they take your deposit/ payment and dissapear.

I must have gotten close to 10 emails from phony paypal or ebay sites asking for my personal information so they can take over my account. Sad world we live in. If you ever question if it comes from ebay or paypal just forward it too spoof@ebay.com they usually respond very quickly to these types of emails.

Yes you are right about Paypals but btw because Ebay owns Paypal now you can send it to spoof@ebay.com as well. Once I start typing spoof ebays comes up first so I send paypals to there as well and it works the same.
