Praying all went well and you are on the road to recovery! Hope to see you back on this site in the near future...
I was in hospital, today, just for my "normal" chemo infusion. I missed 2 due to having to have a pet scan, a cst scan, a MRI with no contrast. I am still awaiting a n appointment for a colonoscopy (I don't like this one!) AND a MRI WITH contrast. MRI(s) Suck @$$ !!!!!
Then, I will get my date, to arrive. I think my Dr. is too aggesive. I think he wants to remove too much of my Liver. If they remove too much, the lver can shut down. The patient then dies. He is #1 on the East coast,
but maybe too aggressive ? I will be "in " 5 to 7 days (probably 7)
(and) then cannot drive. BED REST !!! Do nothig (That is NOT me !!)!! I just want that moment, when I aweaken fron the stuff they give you to go go "never-never" land and realze it is over, and I am alive.And that I see and can focus my eyes on Karen, m wife of 27 years and our son, Matthew, our only child, a brilliant man, who at 25 is a C.P.A. in N.Y.C for a Fortune 500 Corporation - AND - is in NYU Law School to add an L.L.B. after C.P.A.
Can ya blame me? I have a nice little family, nice cars and a roof over our heads.
Prayers are appreciated. I have a Rabbi and a Priest, at the hospital;
but you know that.
I will post the date that I leave home (by Jeep) to take the 5 mile ride to the hospital.
