X-Type AWD....NICE! new car?

Thats one I've been looking at to replace the contour.

the jag is my grandmas and honestly its a hunk of crap. she had a lemon law suit and won. if the car didnt have something brake every 1,000 miles it would be awsome. it also seems to be a bit slow with no power till 4500 RPM. it has some realy cool toys to play with whitch is a plus. if you do buy a jag buy it new and buy the extra waranty YOU WILL NEED IT.

Really? That sucks. I drove an '04 a few years ago for a weekend and almost bought it. oh well. I really like them but it would probably be safer bet going with the LS.....

HOLY SNOW DRIFTS

Will it had to happen I GOT STUCK

It took 2.5 ft of snow to STOP my 1999 Taurus wagon with snow tires. I did make it over 75feet in to the drift and stopped just 20 feet short of where the tracks had stopped and a 4x4 must have backed out. My front suspension was fully extanded and the tires where a good 2 inchs off the ground.

Lucky my neighbor was out with his tractor. I was less then 1/4 mile from home walked out to get him. He has a 7feet snow blower on the back. So less then 45min from the time I got suck I was home.

Oh ya we had to blow some 200ft of drift just to get to my car

Gotta LOVE IT, It was kinda fun and I'm hoping it drifts shut tonight so I can get the JEEP out to PLAY. ITs locked frt and rear with 35 inch tires and a 9000lb winch which I have yet to use on this JEEP. IT's NEVER been stuck YET. :) Maybe Sunday I will find it's limits

My wife has a 2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) Limited,"Final-500" Edition, made the last 4 weeks of Cherokee production, in June 2001. It has 46,000 on it & is showroom purr-fect ! Silver with dark Charcoal leather heated dual power seats and every possible option, even some from over the MOPAR parts counter. Total of 31 options.
She wears no snow tires. That car plows thru anything (IF IF IF the driver knows what the driver is doing!

I love that car! We actually only use it November thru early April and then it seldom leaves the driveway. It has never ceased to amaze me when we see a hill, and there are 10 cars sliding back down and up & over we go. Bridgestone Dually(s) and 4x4 and HD. Cooling & H.D. Oil cooler and full time 4 wheel drive. A very stout axle ratio, too. IF I could have but just one vehicle, it would be a Jeep. I like the new Commander Limited, but it's too darn BIG ! Wash it in hot water and it might shrink to the correct size! :D

OH, Plumcrazy, that Red '89 McLaren in your album is not my car. (The caption says you think it's mine. Nope. Mine can be seen below my signature on any posting.

That was within 1/8 mile of home just East on my road. And about the same distance the other way, they buried acouple of vehicles in front of the inlaws house and the farmer the other way came and pulled them out.

That was the most Fun I have had out here in the last 3winters. When every night some ya who would bury there car or truck in my frt yard because I stopped plowing the road at night. I was burning almost 10 gallons gas everyday for a week trying to keep the roads open and doing 8 driveways. All for FREE.

:D THE GOOD OLD DAYS :D when snow stayed around all winter

Well it looks like we will be passing up the 100" mark for snow this year.
We have now had 93" this year and we are forcasted to get 8-13" more today. It is now 11:30 am, it has been snowing for about 4 hours with about 4" so far. The weather says it is supposed to do this until seven tonight.

What a crappy winter we have had.

I was almost thinking about pulling the car out this week and start driving it again. Guess I will be waiting even longer.
