Good luck with that. There isn't a fiscal conservative on either side. The GOP spends like drunken Democrats and Democrats, well, they buy the next round.

That's what cost the GOP Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008. The tide is turning, slowly. I don't ever recall so many people having such strong opinions on a political subject since Watergate--and like then, nearly all agree the problem must be stopped.

There was a time when studies said everyone thought Congress was the problem, but their own congressman was okay. That's changing. People are really starting to guess that if their guy isn't part of the solution, he's part of the problem.
