Very Very nice! Another Sandy !!!
My 1986 Capri McLaren is a year newer, with 703 miles. Same type of condition. This Mustang's MSRLP is $11,000. I believe that is what it's worth, today. I would consider that a fair price, for buyer & seller.

I bet that the bidding hits $15k, without the reserve being met.

This was my dream car, in this color and everything, when I was a college freshman. It is so cool to be able to see a "new" one again.

I don't know... Maybe it's me being skeptical or the pictures are bad...

But doesn't the front carpet look too dirty to only have 99 miles on it... I mean I guess that could be how the owner had fun w/ it over all these years by walking out to the garage and sitting in it w/ his dirty feet? I don't know...

The engine compartment looks dull too

When I got my 88 that engine bay shined

Just cause it has 99miles on it doesn't mean it won't have shelf wear.

She looks pretty darn nice. But if she's going to be sold for top $$ she needs to be SPOTLESS!

Look at the pedal wear on the clutch and the brake pedals, looks duller than the accelerator pedal. Is that a water stain on the passenger seat or is it the way the picture was taken?

I mean yea it is a clean car but I agree Mike -- they need to detail this to get top dollar...

I noticed the pedals too

Very nice car though

Car could have been presented better but looks to be the real deal you could spend a day making it top notch but seller kinda went with it. I do not think there are and storys on that car! Eng bay looks prob llike it would have when you bought it off lot in 85 a little dusty and untouched!

Funny, but this is identical to the car I ordered in June 1985, only to have delivery stalled by a Teamster's strike.

But the Merc dealer had two McLaren's in stock, so I bought my first, the '85 Coupe, instead of a GT.

Bidding is up to $18,100.00. And it's a No Reserve auction.

I got my 86 McClaren Vert over E Bay. In fact I've bought 4 vehicles over Ebay and I'm quite pleased with them. I'm into the Thunderbird a little heavier than I wanted to be but the price'll go up.

There is a reserve and it is not met at 18100

If you read the whole posting that was changed on 8-12. The ad reads the bidding will run to the end and it will be sold to the high bidder.

Did not read that but can give you a little fyi: If auction stays right where it is and high bidder bidder never contacts the guy he is not obligated if bidder has not met res no matter what seller types in ad. It still shows res not met so that was what i was ref too.
