Wish he had made that window sticker bigger so that I could read it. I tried to enlarge it & print it, but I could not get it any larger

Can anybody do it ?

I guess it's Atlantic Blue with Blue interior & top, but he doesn't say what colors it is.

Chaz, Chaz, Chaz....

Last night I spent 30 minutes trying to get a readable print of the window sticker. I was able to enlarge it, but when printed, all I got was a line of "I" (s)
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Every letter was an I.

Is what every letter looked like. I was so aggitated and angy and my son, (Computer maven) was out with his girlfriend....so I just shut down & went to bed.

This AM I was busy preping the cars for winter. Now, at 1:30 NYC time, I come on here and and and .... Om my God. You somehow knew I wanted it SO badly and you did it and posted it for everyone to see.

Thank You seems weak, But a more sincere Thank You .... you may never get. From the pit of my heart, THANK YOU.

Now
onto the window sticker itself:

Special Order : 22 0521 - This would be the Ford Internal Code for the things to be omitted from and / or added to the D32 build, for the making of a 1987-Spec ascMcLaren.
All of the items listed above 22 0521 would be automatically added to the 22 0521 build, even though they ARE optional equipment, as listed, they were mandatory with the 22 0521 build (D32). Only exception would be the tranmission. The Automatic would have a price amount in the pricing column, while the 5-Speed Manual Transmission would be listed, but with a N/C in the pricing amount column.

The DELETE PIN STRIPES is noted as it was normally included in the build.
The ARTICULATED SPORT SEATS were NEVER an option in a LX !!! They used the GT(s) seats, and knowing ascMcLaren was going to recover them, they opted for the STANDARD cloth covered Sport Seats, as installed into GT COUPES.
T-Roof Doors were installed so that the doors would be frameless (for a convertible) Later on (SERIES II) 1989 / 1990 they switched to using Convertible doors.
The reinforcements were installed by FoMoCo. I was told by another party that they are the ones used on the Police Spec. Mustang LX V-8 Highway Mustang Police Pkg. of those years.

This is how ascMcLaren recieved them. In 1987 FoMoCo tried to put a similiar paint color on to what McLaren was going to paint them, thusly you'll see this car was painted Dark Shadow Blue Metallic. After 1987
ASC told FoMoCo just to make them all BLACK as it eased the build, not having to paint the entire engine bay & inner fenders, etc. Black is acceptable for any exterior color. BUT FoMoCo could not alter the calls for cars with Blue interior to be exterior color of Black, as it would immediately be tossed out of the system - as the computer was told that was a Non Acceptible color combo. SOOooo, the exterior painted order calling for Blue interior to be FoMoCo painted WHITE. Therefore, the cars with blue interior required more work, as their engine bays & inner fenders needed to be painted black. This I know, first hand as my Azura Blue '90 had its engine bay painted black, but my under carpet floor pan is White, while my '90 25th Silver Anniversary Edition with its SCARLET interior is ALL black underneath, and inner doors and under trunk mat.

Thanks Again!

Mike, save this window sticker to wherever you think is best. In 18 years, this is THE only actual 1987 one I have ever seen!
They were on the ORIGINAL window of the car, prior to ascMcLaren installing the newly cut sidewindows to accommodate the laid back windshield. The OEM side windows were trashed, wearing their stickers, that is way nearly nobody has one! (Only way to have gotten one was to write to FoMoCo to obtain your original. This man must hacve done that.

I gotta go take a cold shower, now !!! :blob: Too much excitement !

Peter, see that - $9.00 on exterior delete? You' flip if ya knew what that was for !!

It was for LEAVING OFF the "Mustang LX" from the trunk lid lip !!

Nine bucks for leaving it off !! times 150 cars (1985) = $150.00

Did ya notice the cost of the Articulating Buckets??? THAT was an exclusive code made up for ASCMcLaren. They were STANDARD on the GT and NOT AVAILABLE on the LX ! They were the standard CLOTH, as installed into the GT Hatchabck & Convertible. Leather was an option, and ONLY in the 'Vert !! Making that actually 2 options that being 1) Articulating Seat and 2) Leather. Verts came with articulating in CLOTH,
which was the only choice in the Hatchback.

(If this does not make sence, I am sorry. I just came home from 5 hours at hospital getting Chemo & Avastin. On the way home, I was admiring Scions, so that says it all........
