Headlight louvers

Post by KHummel66 »

I recall it being mentioned that some Capri coupe prototypes, or maybe it was the 84's, had louvers over the headlights instead of the plexiglass covers we're all familiar with.

Would this be what they look like...

Maybe. I do not think so, as they seen to be too long (in width). Correct color. but no side frames.... So :shrug

One guy has a weird car. It's got an 83 vin but is a mish mash of 83-86 parts. If it wasn't built like an asc vert (a-pillar bent back, etc), I'd have written it off.

It was sold as a "protype" asc from Florida I think.

It had those light louvres on it.

That is all I know.

Actually, those look like they might be the ones that cover both headlights and attach to the bumper cover. The ones on my car attach to each individual headlight...
