We've owned quite a number of Fords and can't think of 1 that ever gave us trouble. Currently own 4. '04 Ford Escape with the No Boundaries Package (Wife's but our main driver since she got laid off), 2007 Ford F150, (There are a couple things I don't like about it but I had an Expedition before. The damn thing is REALLY quiet on the road. It's so quiet it's eerie). 1986 ASCMcLaren Convertible with less than 22,000 miles on it.All options and immaculate shape), 1965 Thunderbird that I have way more money in than I'll get out. (Unless I live to be 100 and sell it at 99). It's in excellent shape but I'm in it for around 11-12K.
Glad to see ford in the upper range there. I own 4 Fords, and a Mercedes, had no issues out of the Fords Considering their miles.
98 Mustang: 255k Miles, ALL original accessories, changed throwout bearing @ 200k.

87 Mclaren: New project, hard to say whats been done.
06 C230: 60K, no problems found.

1. Very impressed that Lincoln is #2 out of 36 spots. Now Lincon! could you put more effort into going after Cadillac's dominance of the domestic luxury car and suv market? Design some sportier versions of the MKZ, MKS, MKT, & Navigator! For crying out loud, make something that can hang with the CTS-V, make an equal of the XLR!!!!
2. Ford: "Congrats Mercury on your #5 ranking out of 36 spots. Your reward? We're killing you off". Brilliant.
3. Ford at #8. Good job, keep improving though, don't rest. Remember, "The Best Never Rest!"
4. Chevy and Dodge....... yikes........

A Corvette in Caddy clothing; I always thought that was awesome too.shelbyscarab wrote:oh, didn't know that. Still, thats an awesome car, I reluctantly have to say......Kentennis wrote:Shelby,
Sadly Cadillac killed the XLR in the spring of 2009.
However they still have some brand new 2009's for sale!
I have never understood why Mercedes has always been able to generate enough volume to mainatin production of the SL series and both M-B and BMW can move 2-door luxury coupes, but Caddy can't keep a 2-seat vert in it's line up to save it's life and neither Caddy or Lincoln offer coupes anymore (although I understand Caddy is bringing a 2 door C series to market soon).
