This one crossed the block at the Leake Auction in Dallas this past weekend. It looked ok, with a repaint and around 88k or so miles on it. There were some engine mods that did not look to be all that impressive in nature.
I was going to bid on it, but it shot up to $7000 and I passed.
Not surprisingly, Leake had the name wrong on their video screens. They called it a McLaren.

This November's Leake auction is featuring a 1988 ascMcLaren as well. I wonder whether it is the same one, making a return visit. It is too early to tell, though, as the Leake site lists the car, but has no photo or details.
