I recently had my windshield broken and I go to have it repaired. Windshield place said that they could not get the molding off. SOME idiot lame brain used some kind of jb weld product to keep the molding on. Had to by another windshield molding before the new glass was put in.
Anyone have problems getting these moldings off.

Convertible?
Pretty sure those mouldings are a total PITA for everyone involved. They crack easily so people glue them on.
They may be glued on anyways from asc, not sure I don't have a vert.
If you do a search here, many people with windshield moulding questions.

You are not wrong. It is a very bad design.
Remember, these cars were hand made by a small-ish company and they made some good decisions and some bad. I think if the cars were sold in larger numbers they would have done some redesigns when they switched over to the Mustang. I am sure they knew this was going to be an issue.

Does this thread help? Looks like a heat gun may allow the adhesive to release.
