What my Eurocoupe is worth
What my Eurocoupe is worth
Any idea what my Eurocoupe is worth? The reason I am asking I have to take it in to have it adjusted for hail damage and they might say it's not worth the price to fix it. It has 115,00 miles on it and the inside is in great shape. The front half and top has been repainted and back half is not in that bad of shape. Pictures in my album.

I vehimently hate all insurance companies, and find them to be the biggest crooks out there. All of my experiences with them have been a combination platter of lies, deceit, half truths and broken promisses based upon purposely woven missunderstandings and half truths.
The insurance weenies are rewarded for saving the company money and they do THAT by screwing the insurred. Wife & I are both exceedingly healthy for age 59. They were charging us $ 2,100 a month Blue Cross & Blue Shiet Family insurance premium. One day I got sick of supporting them & I cancelled it, dead stone cold. However, I continued paying the $2,100 a month, BUT to MY bank account! Ha Ah! THAT was 7 years ago, at age 52.
Do the math! $2,100 @ month = $25,000 a year X 7 years = $176,400 IN MY BANK ACCOUNT !! F''Em good!
I say your car is worth $ 7,500.00. and IF you wish to supply me with your address, I'll send you that on an ascMcLaren International Registry Letterhead, as a qualified used car appraiser with 36 years experience in the business, and founder of the ascMcLaren Owners Club / Registry.
Every place they are gonna search on the web, they're gonna come UP with me, or my phone # or my address, pertaining to ascMcLaren !!
All paths lead to my door, and I believe that I am THE only qualified and certified used car appraiser under the ascMcLaren heading.

I apologize for hijacking the thread, but I must respectfully disagree with the idea of cancelling health insurance. While I certainly agree that it is outrageously expensive, it can really pay off.Sandy wrote:The insurance weenies are rewarded for saving the company money and they do THAT by screwing the insurred. I somehow managed to come down with cancer, Hodgkins lymphoma, four years ago, at age 35. Until the diagnosis, I had been in perfect health, with nothing more than a cold once a year and the flu once a decade. If it wasn't for health insurance, I would be paying the hundreds of thousands of dollars for chemotherapy and the like for the rest of my life. Just something to consider.

I recently began considering, (like 2 weeks ago) and am looking into (I can't spell it) ~ Catostophic (?) Insurance policy.
I am heartfelt and saddened by learning that news. That's horrible. On the strreet I live on (only 9 houses) there are 2 TWO people I wonder about. I wonder how they escaped all the known illness's that face people. They are both in their 80s live alone, do their gardens, take mini walks and one still drives (and very well, BTW). Others on the street are loaded with sickness and are my age, (late 50s).....

Catastrophic health insurance can be a very good thing. It is great for people who are in good health and do not go to the doctor for every little sniffle or hang nail. They have lower premiums, but will be covered in the event that an expensive health issue arises.

75coug, I wish you all the best. I've have personally known 2 people who have beat the "C" and returned to decent health. I will say a prayer this sundown to cure you. May you be blessed!

Thanks, Sandy. It has been almost 3.5 years since I completed the treatment, and it has not yet returned. Hope springs eternal.Sandy wrote:75coug, I wish you all the best.
