Body:
I believe that 8 cars went to a combination of
the two countries you mention. I have located 2,
whose owners know of at least 3 others! In 1989, for 1
year only, they came in a color called "Paris Blue
Metallic" - Stats prove that only 8 were made. I have found
3 of them in New Zealand. I am beginning to think
that it was an EXPORT color, only!! ??? In over 500
cars I've located in the USA, I have NEVER (yet)
located a Paris Blue car, yet have found 3 in N.Z. Paris
Blue was actually a Merkur XR4Ti (Ford Sierra) color
in 1988, called "Biscay Blue". Either way, the paint
code was 03. (Now, to you 1986 Capri owners, NO, the
1986 asc/McLaren "Paris Blue" was a different color
mix, and a different color. 1986 asc/McLaren "Paris
Blue" was actually 1985 Merkur XR4Ti color by the same
name, code 03 again, but in 1988 Merkuer changed the
color, and changed the name to Biscay Blue - but asc
adopted the new color ~ but retained the name. Confused,
yet???
