I actually refrain from putting the top down
until it is warm enough to do it without "bending" the
window. I've had the plastic crack on me more than once.
Another reason is the motor. I've gone through 2 already.

I saw that I can't get out of my
mind...<br><br>Back in 97 there was a Silver/Grey/Black 88 here. He
was actually an old friend of mine from HS. He was
always riding around with the top down. One day I saw
him on the freeway, going about 80-mph. The top
dislodged from the A-pillar and flew back. His 2 friends
tried as hard as they could to keep it from doing any
further damage, but this was in vane. There was serious
damage to his tonneau panel and the top frame was
completely bent out of shape and warped. He covered the car
with a tarp until he had the $$$ to fix
it.<br><br>Maybe I'm just paranoid.
