Body:
Now for a question that I've been asked, and is
(as far as I know), the only question that I've not
been able to answer, and am dying to know the answer
to myself! If you look at all interior photos that
illustrate the seat covering you will notice that 1987 &
1988 used seat covers that featured diagonal
stitchery, like this: ///// on the driver's seat and like
this on the passenger's seat: \\\\\. For 1989 this was
discontinued and was replaced with plain center back & bottom
panels that continued to be perforated leather, but
without the diagonial stitching. Now here's the $10.00
question:- This type of seat cover was continued in 1990 as
well, however even though the "blue" used for 1990 was
new * (* see note at bottom) the 1990's with blue
interior reverted to the 1987/1988 sew style with the
diagonial stitching, while the other color interiors
remained with the 1989/1990 new sew style. So, why did
1990's with the NEW blue interior use the old style
pattern???????? <br>S A N D Y
