Unfortunately for you, car stereo manufacturers
update and phase out models within three years of each
other. There may be a silver lining though. It seems
that they also sell older factory reconditioned head
units at a significantely reduced price. If I were you,
I'd get in touch with Alpine or a local retailer, and
see if they have any reconditioned 7272's around.
Couldn't hurt.
