Subject: Re: Small problems..... '85 roadster

Body:
I am not sure what shocks are on the roadster, I
am a coupe owner.
The sagging is more than
likely the rear springs, shocks should'nt cause it to
sag. Shocks are to absorb and take bounce out of the
ride. I see bad springs alot in convertibles due to all
of the extra weight.
Your car might still make
the noise with the top down, but your top (that is
down) might absorb the sound. Possibly your top could
also be loose and bounce off of the floor board.
You'll have to take a closer look at the car.
I
would consider changing those rear springs and shocks.
The car will handle the way it normally should.
