No, the reason I didn't reply last week was that I was trying to do
some add'l. research on it. I did not have a definative answer. I
do now!
The cars destined to become 2-Seat Convertibles retained their
original equipment 1984-1990 Ford Mustang/Mercury Capri V-8 shocks &
springs. ONLY the 1984-1986 Mercury Capri asc/McLaren Hatchback
Coupes had the suspension alterations of Carrera Shocks & McLaren
Specific Springs.
You use the originals, from Ford.

PS / Sorry 4 the delay, I was not positive, so I called Ex-McLaren
workers, at asc & they took time to get back 2 me!
