Brent, I have photos of G.P. IVs WITH the BBS style wheels, as well
as with the 10-hole regular 5.0L wheels. However, I have MORE photos
with, than w/out, as well as a photo of the initial group of them
being delivered to the Detroit Chamber of Commerce, from Ford, and in
the picture it can be seen that they are wearing the BBS style rims!!
Yes, some of the cars did have GS on the rear hatch, as I have seen
that too. I believe it was placed there in error. Funny thing, the
cars with the RS die-cut into the side moulding lack the GS on the
hatch, and the cars with the GS on the hatch, lack the RS die cut
into the side moulding.....maybe they used both, & up graded of
changed stuff on the GS cars, such as substituting the black grille
for the chrome edged one, and black accents instead of chrome ones.
Weird!
