Subject: Re: [ASC McLaren ] McLaren Wheels

Body:
White was an available color wheel on Coupes AND Convertibles.
Anthracite was and available color wheel on Coupes AND Convertibles.
Popsicle Orange was STRICTLY ONLY on Coupes.
Seldom seen (3 were made) PAINTED Silver was only on 1986 Coupes,
and GOLD was ONLY on Convertibles.
According to factory literature, inorder to get Gold on the
Convertible, the car had to have either Sand Beige interior and/or a
Tan roof. Exception was 1989 when the had Royal Gold Metallic as a
paint color and then any available combo could have the gold wheels,
which were then directionals, in polished Aluminuim WITH
the "pockets" done in Gold.
